Sun Blocks

Once again, here are the colour and monochrome versions of images from last week’s trip to Ogden Point Breakwater. I thought these two images go well with yesterday‘s bright version of the Ross Bay storm drain.

These are two different exposures, one converted from colour to black and white. I prefer the colour version this time, mostly because the water stands out a bit more from the granite. Both have lost their crispness in the translation to WordPress.

Canon EOS 5Dmkii, Canon 50/1.4 lense, ISO100; colour – f16, 10 seconds; monochrome – f18, 20 seconds. Cameron Fader ND filter, at around 7 f-stops of density.
