Troubled Bridge II
Another image from last week’s removal of the railway span of Victoria’s Johnson Street Bridge. In this image the worker is making one of the final cuts before the old span was lifted away.
You can find my other posts about the bridge here.

Hi Toad – I am glad it resonates with you. I took some pictures this weekend of this span which is sitting down at Point Hope Shipyards now. Not sure if any of them are good enough for blogging, but have not really played around with them yet. I guess it will be cut into bin sized pieces sometime, and carted away.

Sweet shot! Love these “ADL” (activities of daily living) shots! Sorry I haven’t been visiting/commenting lately, my energies have been focused on getting my business up and running, it’s been a chore to just get my images posted to my blog! Not to worry, I haven’t forgotten and plan on making time within the next few days to explore ALL the posts I’ve missed!

Well, that will be balanced since this morning was the first time I have had for a while to browse other’s blogs. I was glad to catch up on yours in particular.

And, while for the worker this might be an ADL, I sure am glad its not a daily activity in my surroundings to have the more iconic landmarks demolished.
