Trial Island Cloud
Another view from Ross Bay but without a storm drain for a change (not in view anyway, but I was standing next to it). In the distance is Trial Island with its lighthouse.
What I really like about this picture is the quality of the water, all dark but bright too where it reflects clouds.

Amazing. The water looks so heavy – wonderful shading. I can see why you are captivated by it.

Hey thanks Ryan. “Heavy” – I had not thought of it that way, but it is a good word for it.

It’s just got this wonderful dark sheen, brilliant in its weight.

That gentle reflection of the clouds in the ocean there is really quite epic, my friend, GREAT photograph!

Hi Toad – thanks so much! Looking at it on this monitor it is not nearly as satisfactory (too dark) as it is on my usual monitor. Maybe I need to adjust this one.

I like this, too. I like the texture in the water as well as the dark color. It’s great contrast with the sky.

Thanks Ken. I have had it sitting around for a few weeks now, wondering if I should use it, so I am glad to see the same things in it that I do.
