Ross Bay Awash II
Another view of the storm drain on the beach in Ross Bay, Victoria taken the same day as Ross Bay Awash and Ross Bay Bright. Most of my pictures of this drain are in black and white since I find I can get more out of the sky and water that way. But, I really like the colours in this version and it would be a loss to convert it to black and white.
You can find the other storm drain pictures through this link.

Very cool. I like the angle of the POV; it looks like the world is sinking into the sea.

Hi Ryan. I agree, maybe the tide was rising, though its not that long of an exposure.

Thanks skadhu – I like how the long exposures really bring out these muted colours in the winter ocean

Hi Donkey – welcome to my blog. I hope to see you back. Your visit coincides with my first ever views from Bhutan. Probably a coincidence.
I hear you could get reported to the police for a sense of humour, be careful man. Oh, and thanks your comment 🙂

Hi gill – nice to have you visiting. The muted colours of winter, but they are very typical and I find rather hard to capture. I think the long exposure saturates the colour a bit and shows them off.
