Concrete Veins in Context
This is a follow-up to the Concrete Vein and Vein with Needles posts to show their context on the side of the Gonzales Observatory.
Yesterday’s shot is a crop from this one. The first post is a crop and rotation from one similar to this.
Not so abstract this time. More concrete.

I like this picture best when I move it up the screen of my tablet so as to cut off those discordant elemets at the very top. The veined concrete and richly coloured variegated substrate are great.

Hi Val – that exact screen moving process led me to make the crops that I posted previously. I think one more crop of this photo is in order – to show the bedrock and the veins but not the stairs.

Great to see the context. Loved the cropping on the previous instalment.

Thanks Katherine. It needed cropping. Not even sure why I showed an uncropped version.
