Concrete Veins in Context

IMG_1456

This is a follow-up to the Concrete Vein and Vein with Needles posts to show their context on the side of the Gonzales Observatory.

Yesterday’s shot is a crop from this one. The first post is a crop and rotation from one similar to this.

Not so abstract this time. More concrete.

  1. I like this picture best when I move it up the screen of my tablet so as to cut off those discordant elemets at the very top. The veined concrete and richly coloured variegated substrate are great.

    • Hi Val – that exact screen moving process led me to make the crops that I posted previously. I think one more crop of this photo is in order – to show the bedrock and the veins but not the stairs.
