Triplet

Looking up seems a bit of a theme around this blog these days (look here and here to see what I mean).

This is more from the time I spend showing Melinda around Victoria a few weeks.

Looking up is definitely a useful variation on Melinda’s motto to always look around back.

    • Yes. You do need to.
I have no idea where you were for this one, but I think it was right there with me. This was right after we cut out of the narrow alley with arches and started to loop back to Bastion Square to find the patient spouse.

      • I recognize the general area, but am certain I missed this particular shot. Actually, my blog post for tomorrow was taken at the far end of the arched alley.

Yay for patient spouses! We are both lucky on that front, aren’t we?

And, as far as a return trip, I do have a conference in Seattle in mid-April….

      • Oh well. You were probably looking around back or something. We are very lucky in the patience of our spouses! Mid-April next year would be great – totally different weather than the glorious sunny summer you happened upon this time, but perhaps more interesting for it.

    • Hi Andy – looking up is proving to be good practice. The mural is interesting and worth a shot sometime when there are no cars parked tight against the building – early on a Sunday morning perhaps.

    • Hi Rob – thanks! I like that kind of overhanging light – they seem a bit like eyes on stalks and thus are a bit more animated than many other light fixtures.
