Square Lines II

2014-XA2-001-006

Another shot taken while testing the Olympus XA2. This is part of a set that I took along one of the decks. In this case there must have been light reflecting from a window.

If you want to seem more of my shots from Market Square then click on this link – at the time of writing most are on film with the XA2,

I am off to the wedding of friends for a couple of days so may be a bit slow responding to comments.

    • Thanks Andy! It is my favourite of the series, partly because of the coincidence of my timing and the light, but also because that cross hatched area in the middle with resulting squares is very nice for my eye.

    • Thank you Linda. I never looked to see what they are reflecting off, but on the next level up and otherwise in the right direction there is a curved glass enclosure to the walkway and I am guess that fading out is the curve on the glass.

    • Hi Ken – what drew me in first were the really strong sun lines which I showed in the earlier post in this named series. While I was taking pictures of that, I found this one and was thrilled. It is my favourite shot of these railings. Perhaps this only happens a few days a year with the light being just right to reflect like this. And for only a few minutes too – I was lucky in other words!
