Unfinished II
I think it is time to give Coombs a rest for now.
It seems appropriate to close off with another shot of the unfinished building that I started this little series off with.

Hi Film & Vinyl – thanks for stopping by and commenting. I really like the black strip of roofing paper that comes over the top edge, it is so black. The new white door with faded pale brown paper on the inside is perhaps a bit much, but it all works together I think.

I like this quite a bit. That’s not a surprise, is it?

No surprise at all Melinda.
Funny that it is a new building. Though it looks like it is being made to look old, and perhaps it is really an old building being made to look new. I don’t know.

Or, maybe it’s a new building that was made to look old, and is now being made to look new again. Or…no, I’d better stop; this is making me dizzy.

I bet no one calls you dizzy to your face. These faux old towns are really quite confusing – often they have one or two old buildings in situ, a couple more brought in from somewhere else, and then a whole bunch that are made to look that way. And they are all under constant revision and repurposement (word?) – a dizzying swirl of confusion, and often colour to go with the swirl.
