Transformation to Flat
This lookout on Gonzales Hill is a remnant of WWII coastal defences.
This structure was an observation post.
It had a gable roof and was disguised to look like the other houses on the hill.
At the high point it has a terrific 360° view.
I don’t know what the concrete cube atop the main box is all about.
But as you can see in these photos, there is simultaneously a strong 3D aspect to this spot and a graphic 2D one.
Depending on your point of view.
