6×9 Hedge Mono
Another conversion to black and white of a shot from my 52Rolls post of a few days ago.
I have photographed this same hedge in similar light on medium format before in a post called Hedge Edge.
I don’t think I have got it right yet – these shots don’t quite convey what I see as I drive past on these kinds of days.

I think that photo of those trees has a rather sinister quality to it. Very atmospheric.

You have very finely tuned sensors for the sinister. Those trees are right at the edge of the cemetery and their roots find nourishment on human corpses.
