Birthday Portrait
Another photo from my mother’s birthday in May.
My sister was being droll, as perhaps you can tell.
I am away for a few weeks so will be even slower than usual on replying to comments.
But I will when I come back on the grid, which is almost the case now.

What a sweet photo of your mom!

Thanks Melinda – it is a look I know well, rising bemusement. My sister was saying something amusing, and this is the moment when it was starting.

“Rising Bemusement” would be a good title for this.

It would. I posted the bemusement a month or two ago.

Hi Lynn – just out of view to the left is a white wall that was in the sun and giving her face some great infill light. All of these pictures were over exposed for some reason I have not figured out yet, hopefully only operator error. This meant quite a bit of work to get useable images.

That’s annoying, but isn’t it amazing what software can do….
