Reminds me of our old
garage, till the cosmetic
surgery of a roller door.
The remote is great …
but the garage lost some
character.

Thanks David – I know exactly what you mean. I am contemplating closing in my carport to make a garage, except a car would rarely go in it, so thinking maybe something with more character would be a good option. Less dilapidated than these ones though!

Hi Yvonne – it is indeed. Cedar shingles last a very long time, especially the older ones from 50 years ago like these appear to be. My parents have a cedar shingle roof parts of which have been in place since well before they bought the house in 1969. But they can get looking very ratty well before they start to leak.
