Shadow Play

2015-OlyMJUII-001-008

I have featured a few shots from this roll of film the past few days and have included them in the gallery below, as well as others that emphasize architectural shadows.

The rest can be found as my Roll 51 entry (nearly done!!) at 52Rolls.net – here.

This roll of film live in the fridge unprocessed since early March, finally to be processed last week.

This roll of film was shot in March, but only processed a few days ago.

At that time I was taking a lot of shots of shadow patterns, mostly with the Olympus XA2.

Thus photo was from the first roll  that I put through the Olympus mjuii in 2015.

Like much of that XA2 series is also shot in Market Square on sunny days.

Brick and Corrugated

2015-OlyMJUII-001-013

I have photographed this building before, which is at the northern edge of Victoria’s Chinatown.

You can see those other posts here and here.

The bricklaying seems pretty shoddy, but maybe it was supposed to look like that.

This roll of film languished in my fridge unprocessed since early March when I took these shots.

Downtown 50

Here is today’s 50 Rolls post, featuring seasonally rare yellow light in counterpoint to the blue light in the rest of the roll that I posted earlier here: http://wp.me/p1R4lY-7ii. Click over to 52 Rolls to see a dozen images.

Another roll of film from the Olympus mjuii, my pocket camera for the past few months. I took these photos earlier this week – we had a few minutes of sun as it was setting and I was downtown at the time.

This is week 50 for me. I just discovered that this is a 53 week year, so I might throw in an extra post before the end of the year since I have shot the film, and nearly finished more in one camera or another.

I have posted most other frames from this roll of film on my blog at Storm Break Blues which features some lovely blues from the end of the day. Gotta love the colours of film.
