I found myself drawn to this house in Masset on my last trip to Haida Gwaii.
It was near my motel and caught the evening light very nicely, when there was any.
The stop sign kind of steals the show in the first image, not that I am complaining.
This is the last of a roll of black and white film that I shot in Masset; the rest of the roll of film can be found at 52Rolls in a post called Haida Gwaii Alley, as well as on this blog in posts called Haida Gwaii North Beach and Haida Gwaii Masset Dock.
A few more shots from yesterday’s roll of film, these ones shot at Yakun along North Beach, Haida Gwaii.
Most of the rest of this roll of film is posted at 52Rolls as Haida Gwaii Alley and here as Haida Gwaii, Masset Dock.
I took another roll of film at this location, it was colour shifted expired film which I mostly converted to black and white. If you missed it, it can be found at Haida Gwaii Landscapes.
The rest of the roll of Neopan Acros shot in Masset. This post was inspired by the work of Melinda at http://melindagreenharvey.com/. Melinda is always looking around the back and finding interesting subjects in alleys.
The rest of this roll (those parts already published) can be found at: http://wp.me/p1R4lY-7dE.
Canon Elan 7N, Canon 50/1.4 lens, Fuji Neopan Acros 100, commercially developed, scanned on Epson V700.

I walked into this alley behind the “Christ for First Nations” church (broken windows in the church suggest it’s not going over all that well locally). The light was good and I ended up shooting half the roll on the metal siding of the commercial buildings, which is what you get today here on 52Rolls.
There is more from this roll of film taken around the Masset dock on my blog today at Haida Gwaii Masset Dock published at the same time as this post. Those are mostly sky shots. Eventually, a few more shots from the beach and around town that were taken on this roll will appear on my blog and will link here with a…

These are photos were taken where Masset meets Masset Inlet, on my last trip to Haida Gwaii.
They were shot on black and white film; much of the rest of the roll of film I have posted at 52Rolls today as Haida Gwaii Alley.
