I really must step back, on a low traffic morning, and catch this whole building.
It works well in colour and black and white, with and without graffiti.
Taken on a test roll in a Canon EOS3, pinhole shots on that same roll are published at 52rolls.net yesterday (here).
Another of my posts from the 52Rolls project, roll 44 is most of a roll of colour slide film, including the images here on this blog that posted today and two days back. Lots of shots with glorious grain and some with lovely colours, so go check them out at 52 Rolls (this link).
These pictures are from late April, but I only got them scanned a few days ago – I had intended to do them myself earlier but ran out of time.
I have shot the Rollei CR 200 colour reversal film a couple of times this year. I find it grainy, but I quite like the grain. The colours are strange and

Another shot from the Rollei CR200, this one capturing a cloud front at sunset.
The rest of this roll is up on 52Rolls here, I will be reblogging that post later today.
Well, it seems to be family day around Burnt Embers today, but not on purpose. These shots of my granddaughter are from May, or thereabouts, but scanned earlier this week.
The whole roll can be seen at 52 Rolls, and there are some nice shots of this cutie! To get there use this link. This is my 43rd roll posted for the year, badly out of sequence due to a long layoff. But I am getting caught up 🙂
Children, and grandchildren, can be quite the workout for a parent, or grandparent. In this instance I headed out with my granddaughter and her dad for a bit of play in her favourite park. She now lives out of town and really enjoys nostalgic visits to the places she remembers from before the move.
This is another roll from my backlog, developed months ago, but only scanned a few days ago. I shot this roll at ISO100, as a bit of an experiment. I don’t think it is improved on the results I normally get at box speed, everything is a bit more pastel, and that can be nice, but nothing here makes me want to do this all the time with this film.
While the dad got exercise, I gave my Canon Elan 7N a workout, running a full roll of Agfa Vista 200 through while my son-in-law ran end to…

My son’s birthday in the spring. This roll of film has finally been scanned, after sitting around for months.
The film is Rollei CR200, a cranky and difficult colour reversal film that has a strange colour cast that must be corrected for some shots, and a boat load of grain.
But I like the grain, and when the colour shift can begone, then the effect is quite satisfying.
The rest of this roll will be up on 52Rolls.net in the next couple of days.
Roll 42 of my 52Rolls project is the first one I ran through a Canon EOS3. It is the rest of the roll which this morning’s diagonal splendor came from, and one of the consistently interesting and best rolls of film I have shot this year. So, you won’t be disappointed if you check it out on 52Rolls at this link.
In March or April I bought a Canon EOS3 that was advertised locally. It lacked a few small items like eyecup and weather plugs for various socket holes but that was reflected in a very good price. And as it turns out my Elan eyecups are the same and that is the one bit that I feel I need to shoot this camera comfortably, being a glasses wearer. I expect the little rubber plugs/caps are not that hard to find either.
These pictures are my first roll shot through the camera on a nice day in April, but only scanned this week. It is Fuji Superia 200 and my Filmtrackr notes indicate I metered it at ISO320. This is an error, of one kind or another. Either I did meter it at 320 (though the images don’t look that way) in which case I was thinking it was 400ISO film…

You might need eye protection to view this shot, especially so soon after weeks of gentle nature shots with nary a garish colour.
Taken on a test roll in a Canon EOS3, more of the roll published at 52rolls.net yesterday (here).
