Working aboard the Passing Cloud can mean late nights for crew after the passengers have gone to bed.
Not that any one was complaining about the office.
Another photo from August when my living room became a recording studio for a music video.
Kirsten Ludwig, with a crew from Rocktographers, was making a video of a couple of her songs, which included shooting through the window.
My son was doing the sound and playing piano. The video is not quite done yet, or if it is I haven’t seen it yet.
However, here (link) is a beautiful duet with Kirsten and my son from a performance last winter.
Kirsten has just set off for a tour of Europe, so if you are in the area you can go see her live.
Below is a list of venues from her instagram and twitter accounts, but it is possible others will be added as they are arranged
I have spent quite a bit of time in Faraday Passage (map link) in the last year and a bit.
Lyell Island is on the right and Faraday Island is on the left.
I walked much of Faraday’s shoreline in September a year ago in search of 10,700 year old archaeological sites (we found several).
This past summer I sailed through here on the Passing Cloud a few times on the way to and from anchorages.
Overcast, but still bright skies in Hecate Strait looking SW along the coast of Lyell Island (link to map).
A fourth view from the Passing Cloud while in the Anna Inlet anchorage, Moresby Island, Gwaii Haanas.
Other views from here can be seen at the Anna Inlet tag.
This bleached spruce carcass was seen in Matheson Inlet while touring on the Passing Cloud in Gwaii Haanas.
While travelling on the Passing Cloud we made a couple of visits to Hotspring Island.
This view is from the south west end of the island across Juan Perez Sound with the mountains of Moresby Island in the background.
See my About page for details.
