While travelling on the Passing Cloud we made a couple of visits to Hotsprings Island.

Several of the major Haida village sites have Haida Watchmen resident during the summer months.
They are there as stewards of the sites, and in that role to guide people safely through the sites and provide an authentic voice to their ancestral homes.
This photo is taken in the watchman’s cabin at T’aanuu Llnagaay (Tanu) and shows Mary who showed us through the village while we were there.
The village is on the east side of Gwaii Haanas and we got there aboard the Passing Cloud last summer.
