The Kerouard Islands (map link) are at the southern tip of Haida Gwaii.
While sailing between Burnaby and Kunghit Islands aboard the schooner Passing Cloud we were visited by White-Sided Dolphins.
They came to play in our wake, much to the enjoyment of crew and passengers.
In August my living room became a recording studio for a music video.
Kirsten Ludwig, with a crew from Rocktographers, was making a video of a couple of her songs.
My son was doing the sound and playing piano – our Yamaha U7 is a great piano that he likes to record, hence the use of our living room.
The video should be done pretty soon – I am very interested in seeing it.
From an anchorage while aboard the schooner Passing Cloud near the east end of Houston Stewart Channel at Rose Harbour.
A rear corner post and gable beam of a house feature the UNESCO World Heritage Site SGang Gwaay.
The village is on the south-west side of Gwaii Haanas and we got there aboard the Passing Cloud last summer.
While on the Passing Cloud we passed to the west of Kunghit Island where the views to the west are uninterrupted across the entire Pacific Ocean.
