Crow with Sky Fingers

IMG_3167-Edit-2

This is a revisit to an image I posted two years ago. It is still one of my favourite photos.

And so, I have been back to it a few times since then, though have not posted any other versions.

    • Hi Andy. It was luck only in the sense that after I missed it the first time, it called again when I was ready to take the shot and knew that was what I wanted. I have some without the open beak and they are not nearly as satisfying.

    • Thanks Melinda! The previous version was processed in picasa which I used for about a year before I made the leap to software with more control. Now I only use picasa sometimes for adding a quick border since it puts outside the image, unlike some of the software I use now that puts it inside and over the edges of the photo.

      • I remember discussing Picasa with you about this time last year…. I think there’s a way to do borders where they don’t eat up your image. Let me research it for you (how about THAT turn of events?!); I’ll email later once I actually know what I am talking about.
