This is another photograph from when Melinda and I were made to leave this parkade which we were photographing.
The story of our eviction is told here
Anyone that hangs around this blog much will recognise the mural in the left distance which shows the light at Ogden Point breakwater – I have used that mural as a camera testing location quite a few times.

According to the US Dept of Justice more than 1 in 10 property crimes and 7.3% of violent victimizations occurred in parking lots or parking garages between 2004 and 2008.

Very interesting stats.
That would explain the security guard and his attitude, but only a bit. Melinda and I hardly fit the stereotype of violent criminals, especially when we have a few thousand dollars worth of camera gear hanging from our necks. Maybe he was worried we would become victims and wanted that not to be his problem.

Hi Yvonne, I have another photo (http://wp.me/p1R4lY-6te) of where that car is sitting, without any cars, but I think this photo has more interest because of the car.
