Tamarack Buds

2016-ElanIIe-002-014

This Tamarack is a deciduous conifer, shedding its needles every fall.

Tamarack means wood used for snowshoes, in the Algonquian subfamily of languages.

This picture was taken a few weeks ago and the tree is bright green now.

    • Thank you Mark. I love what this grainy film does to the out of focus areas. The lens is one I frequently use on my DSLR and I have never had this feel on digital.
