Re-bar
The Rebar is an excellent vegetarian restaurant in Victoria.
You might imagine from the name hard-as-steel celery sticks or apple crisp with the consistency of reinforced concrete.
If you did, you would be wrong, or out to lunch as some might say. They have an excellent cookbook too which we use several times a month.
I suppose that there is some kind of pun in the name, hence the hyphen in the neon sign (though they don’t use that hyphen anywhere else).
If it is a pun, I have not figured the “re” part out. Maybe someone will help me.
