Eastward
I was just out of town for a week doing field work on Quadra Island.
This view is from the building where we cooked and ate our meals.
It looks east at, this time, the potential thunder heads rising over the coastal mountains of British Columbia.
My main computer is in the shop, getting its contents transferred to a new one.
Which means I am editing images on a laptop with a screen that I don’t trust to render images the way they should be.
If this image contrast and so on seems odd in some way, then feel free to let me know what way so that I can try to compensate.

Hi Gillian – nice to see you commenting! The clouds were amazing – they are far away and truly immense. We were waiting the sound of thunder, but were disappointed.

Hi Sherry – thanks so much. It was offered up on a platter for the taking. Such a great view to watch while eating dinner.
