Woodruff
Woodruff Bay is on the south end of Kunghit Island in Haida Gwaii.
I had never been able to disembark here on previous trips so it was a real pleasure to be able to while with the Passing Cloud.
Today is the 5 year anniversary of making at least one post every day.
That is 1916 posts, which seems like a huge number.
As I said last year I may abandon the post-a-day routine for something a bit less demanding.
But, I am not sure about that yet.
Once again I am in the field, though not so far afield as the trip to Haida Gwaii.
Consequently I may be a bit slow responding to comments, but please leave them if you have thoughts about any of my photos.
Congratulations on your 5th anniversary!

Hi Melinda – I totally missed this comment at the time! Thanks! It pales next to your record, but 5 years is seeming like an awful long time.

I am pleased that you take the trouble…..
Your posts are interesting in themselves but a bonus is that I end up chasing further information that your posts seem to lead an inquiring mind.
The down side is it means I spend more time on the computer – which is never a good thing.
David.

Thanks so much David. I wish that there was more time to provide more text to go with the images. But my time on the computer seems to have slipped away from wordpress (both creating my own material, and visiting/commenting on that of others). It would be nice to have a bit more balance in that department, with more writing to illustrate the images. I will see how things develop over the next little while.

Thank you Val. I think I would like the always to be attached to the beautiful too, which is where the urge to scale back a bit, with less dilution of quality. Or I just need to get better at taking photos so the ratio is a bit higher.
