House Plant
This palm seems a bit like a house plant.
I think I prefer the colour version over the black and white conversion below; it seems more like night time.
This is even though the WordPress compression has messed up parts of the colour (as it did yesterday too).

I love the title, and isn’t it fun to watch the palms popping up in odd places in LA like that? I think the color works better because tree and building are more in balance – in the black and white the tree recedes too much. Thanks for the smile today!

I thought it was when we were on our way to Santa Monica, but there’s a very good chance that my memory is faulty. And you’re right – that day did blur the division of night and day.

Well, this means I had to check the EXIF data. 6 am. Not even all that early, though with the late night before, I was definitely bleary.

6:00 a.m in LA was like 8:00 a.m. for me, so I really had no excuse for being so bleary. Other than, of course, the general fatigue from learning SO MUCH STUFF the day before. And the whiskey.
