Irregular Patterns II
I previously wrote about how I tackled the irregularity of this view while taking a course with Sam Abell in February.
You can see that post here, which includes another version of breaking waves at this spot.

I love the subtlety of tones on the breaking waves. Great craftsmanship.

Thank you Patrick – I made a concerted effort to get the light and waves just right, with a low success ratio.

Thanks Lynn. The light was amazing – a February dawn with glowering sky.

Truly wonderful. I kept having to look again to make sure it wasn’t a painting.

Thanks Jim, and thanks for the mention at your blog. I have many shots from this spot. I stood here for 10 minutes and took dozens of photos trying to capture the light and waves. Your comment made me look back at those photos to see if there are any without the waves that show the light nicely, but it seems that the different angles of water associated with the waves are an important part of the light, the way it is reflected.
