Minox Mountain
Another shot from the Minox 35GT, one of the few that I got off the disastrous roll.
Mt. Baker was as clearly visible as ever it is from my neighbourhood, though a wide-angle lens doesn’t do it justice.

It’s interesting to hear that Mt. Baker is so visible from your neighborhood – we see Mt. Rainier of course, but we don’t have to travel far at all to see Mt. Baker too. They’re always wonderful – no matter how many times I see them!

Hi Lynn – Baker is a reliable sight around here – we are quite a bit south of Baker. Rainier is another matter – exceptionally clear days are required, and a fair bit of squinting, but we can see Rainier a few days a year as well.

I just measured the distance – Baker is 120 km away, Rainier is 210 km.
