There was a wonderfully wide variety of bees at the Horticultural Centre of the Pacific , but they were very difficult to photograph so I only ended up with a couple of examples.
A crummy in Port Renfrew. Looks like it used to be a government vehicle.

The Port Renfrew trip just keeps on giving – this clam crawled out on the beach to take in the sunset.

One of the ponds at the Horticultural Centre of the Pacific had these dead and alive leaves. I have no idea what they are, but like the way they look.
Another flower from the Horticultural Centre of the Pacific – again I did not notice what kind it was due to my closely blinkered view through a macro lens.
