This is along the Hollywood walk of fame (see the stars?), but at the seedy end of the walk.
When I was editing this photo, I was creeped out to find that the guy behind the umbrella was keeping a careful eye on us (see detail below).

The E&N roundhouse (center left in distance) in Vic-West was a great place to try out this 1960’s fisheye lens.
I have posted another shot taken with this lens at the roundhouse (here)
It was raining and thus hard to keep drops off the front element for which no hood (or filter) is possible.

This storm drain photo was taken while camera swapping with Earle a few weeks ago.
I had a request for a change from sterile airport shots and specifically a storm drain shot, which seems like an excellent idea.
This is part of the lit stair case in Los Angeles airport (see my other shots here and here).
This was another exercise in trying to make a photo that included the moment when the guy in the ad peers (more…)
