Break Water Pool
Here are more colour and monochrome versions of yet another image from Ogden Point Breakwater. You can find out more about the breakwater in my first post of this series.
This time I definitely prefer the colour version, probably because there is more to the colour than with the others.

I like how the steps lead the eye onward to the water and the buoy. Nicely done!

Thanks xinapray – I am glad you like it. That navigational marker is a pretty important part of this series, at least to my eye.

Like you, I prefer the colour one – but I like them both.

Beautiful. The color is my favorite of the two of these. I like the reflection in the pools and its play agains the far off horizon. I think there might be some king of message hidden in there.

Hi Ryan. A message? Quite possibly. But I have not found it yet.

The colored version is a beautiful photograph (thanks to the colors).

Thank you Joseph. It is interesting how a reflection can highlight the colour of something – the different angle, or maybe some filtering going on.

I like the color version better, too. The browns and purplish tinge add a nice depth or something that you just don’t get with the monochrome. But both phots are beautiful anyway! 🙂

Thank you Holly. Its the colour in the reflection that I particularly like.
