Rhodo
This rhododendron flowers in the late winter, around here anyway. Very nice to have one in our garden.
This picture was taken a few weeks ago when testing Rollei CR200 film.

I’m surprised they bloom in winter in your part of the world. IN the UK they are not usually out until late April or early May. They are well worth the wait with their very showy flowerheads.

It is a bit unexpected but this variety is often out in January, sometimes even in December. Other ones in the garden come out on a more expected schedule. This rhodo came with the house, one of the few things in the ‘garden’ that we kept, so I know nothing about it.
