I like this kind of shore, but this picture says “slippery” to me.

Slippery indeed – I love the different textures visible in this shot. The rock scoured free of all algae and seaweed, and the rocks encrusted with it.

Hi Andy – thanks for your comment. I love these kinds of diverse shorelines where the combination of waves, tidal zonation and exposure to sun paint the textures.

Hi Kate – add a bit of rain, and you might as well try walking on uneven blocks of ice. Still, there is a method and it is possible to get around without falling (too often).

Strong corrugated rubber soles and a creeping, low to the ground gate would be the method I’d choose!
