More of the Cat, these ones from the winter that I never posted for no particular reason.
Like yesterday’s shot, these are from December in the rocky part of the Chinese Cemetery.
They too are cropped in a long, thin format that appealed to me when I was editing the images.
Another one from last December, looking from the Chinese Cemetery at Trial Island.
In the winter I posted about a fence that is between the bedrock end of the Chinese Cemetery and the first private property towards Pebble Beach. The fence blew down later in the winter – today’s photos date from before that storm.
More photos from December. Not sure why I am looking at these, let alone posting them, on one of the nicest summer days we have had so far. But I am. This is at the bedrock end of the Chinese Cemetery.
A few months ago I did a series of macro shots from the fantastic Canon MP-E 65mm 1-5x macro lens that I rented. One thing I dwelled on in one post was the interesting “bokeh” or optical artifacts that arise using this lens at high magnifications. To find out more about the lens look at the first of these posts – I really must rent it again, so many things to try out with it.
Apparently I am overdue for including the Cat in my blog, after all there is a neglected tab across the top of the blog just for Her.
See my About page for details.
